Chatty Magpie Vocabulary

Chatty Magpie provides a flexible, fun and engaging resource that gives learning vocabulary and language a helping hand. This resource allows you to understand how vocabulary and language skills develop and what you can do to support this. The activities provided have all been rigorously tried and tested within clinics, schools and nurseries. Learning is encouraged through inventive, fun activities, such as hooping objects, guessing what might be in the bag, making up stories and many more.

Chatty Magpie includes 3 information cards, 10 activity cards, 3 plastic cups, 1 dice, 3 wooden hoops, a fabric bag and reward stickers. All you need to do is to add the stimuli which are relevant to your child’s needs and interests.

Chatty Magpie can be used alongside therapy or to give general support at home or in school. Each activity card presents you with a fun way to practise vocabulary and enables you to select the appropriate skill level.
